If the rise of the Mont Ventoux is reserved for the most athletic, the Tour du Ventoux is a challenge within everyone's reach. This itinerant route of 1 to 3 days will allow you to discover the Ventoux in all its facets.
Passing through Bédoin, Sault and Malaucène at the foot of the Giant, you will cycle on winding roads between hilltop villages and lavender fields, cliffs and renowned vineyards. Each stage reveals its share of unusual places: viewpoints on the Mont Ventoux, but also the impressive Dentelles de Montmirail, the spectacular Gorges de la Nesque, without forgetting the wild Toulourenc valley. After the effort, the local products will delight your taste buds.

You will love:

  • A route taking small tourist roads, ideal for discovering the natural and cultural treasures of the Regional Natural Park of Mont Ventoux.
  • A route that goes around the Giant of Provence without climbing it, offering you a panoramic view of its slopes.
  • Crossing emblematic villages such as Bédoin, Malaucène and Sault, three starting points towards the summit, while remaining on the slopes of the massif.
  • Unique sites such as the Gorges de la Nesque, the Albion plateau bordered by lavender fields, the discreet Toulourenc valley and its hilltop village of Brantes.
  • Vaison-la-Romaine and its remarkable ancient remains as well as the renowned vineyards of the Dentelles de Montmirail.
