Tour of the Vaison Ventoux region
Throughout this tour, you will travel through time between Roman ruins, medieval cities and hilltop villages.
©Thibault Champetier - OTI Vaison Ventoux Provence The sporty variant between Roaix and Rasteau will take you along a small foothills road from which there is a breathtaking view of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Mont Ventoux and the Rhone Valley.
By taking the other sporty variant, you will be greeted by calm and greenery.
- Route offering beautiful views of the Côtes du Rhône vineyards and the Dentelles de Montmirail.
- Discovery of the villages of Rasteau, Cairanne, Violès, Sablet, and Séguret, one of the most beautiful villages in France.
- Take the opportunity to eat and discover the medieval upper town of Vaison la Romaine.

- very pleasant route in spring or autumn.
- Avoid periods of high heat (July and August) as the course is not very shaded.
- Dirt road between point (1) and (2)
- Very steep road between Roaix and Rasteau.
