The Nesque Gorges
This unmissable circuit which takes the tourist route of the “Gorges de la Nesque”, remains the most 'sporty' circuit in comparison with those offered throughout the territory.
22 km of gradual climb in the heart of a magnificent landscape: The Gorges de la Nesque, a beautiful hydrogeological breakthrough, a wild canyon, where fantastic rocks stand overlooking a precipice all along a road marked with tunnels and viewpoints - that of Castelleras facing the majestic Rocher du Cire - On arrival in Monieux you will discover the Val de Sault, its scents of lavender as summer approaches, the relief that surrounds it and which gives this country a pleasant feeling of being protected in a setting. On the way back in the descent that you will begin cautiously along the Monts de Vaucluse, you will cross the Javon forest, and reach the land of the Terrasses du Ventoux via Méthamis.
