The Sault Plateau
This route will take you to a perched, isolated plateau, where vast expanses of lavender and wheat alternate, slowly undulating with the relief.

From Sault, the starting point of this itinerary, we will take you on a pleasant circuit without major technical difficulties and some villages where time sometimes seems to have stood still... you will be charmed by the authenticity that they have managed to preserve.
Cycling is well established here and the cycle paths that you will take along the route will confirm this; from Aurel to Saint-Trinit, then this mecca of caving in Saint-Christol d'Albion, you will appreciate a preserved and beautiful environment.
You will appreciate:
- The wide open spaces of the Pays de Sault and its panoramas of the Mont Ventoux and the Lure Mountain
- Fields of lavender (flowering in July-August) and spelt
- The villages of Sault, Aurel and Saint-Trinit: churches, alleys, fountains…
