Aurel, the sources of the Riou

From the car park on the right follow the D942 towards the village. 
1- At “Fontaine d'Aurel” (794 m) go down the small road on the left, go along the wash house then turn right.
2- At the crossroads “Sous le Village” (757 m) take the path that goes down then at “Les sources du Riou” (731 m) turn right onto the path towards Collet Blanc.
3- At the crossroads “Le Collet Blanc” (766 m), go down to the right on the road, leave the village of Les Crottes on your right and continue straight. At the crossroads turn left.
4- Continue on the winding road, then take the botanical trail on the right at the picnic tables. Follow the green markings and the information posts. At “Sentier botanique – Les Crottes” continue right on the trail.
5- Turn left towards Rabaste. At “Rabaste” (685 m), cross the D942 (crossing with poor visibility!) then go up the path towards Le Chassis. Continue the climb to the right. 
6- At “Le Chassis” (742 m), turn right towards Les Granges. Cross the D942 (crossing with poor visibility!), take the path which goes down to the left below the road.
7- At “Les Granges” (706 m) turn left, go along the treatment plant and continue straight on the path. At the road, turn left, join the cobbled path and go back up it. 
8- Return to the tarmac road, continue right to “Sous le village” (757 m). Continue straight on then go up to the left towards the village. Follow the D942 on the right to reach the starting car park.
